This years Torbay Trial will run as qualifying rounds of the Richard Egger Insurance ACTC and ASWMC Championships on Sunday 21st March 2010, and will this year include Motorcycle Classes.
The Trial will start at the Exeter Court Hotel, Kennford, immediately off the A38, approximately 1 mile from the end of the M5. TheFinish will be at Upper Kingswell Farm near Tedburn St Mary (approx 9 miles from start) where after signing-off there is opportunity to watch fellow competitors.
The route will include 17 observed sections and at least 1 special test, traversing some very spectacular scenery. Those who did the event in the dry conditions of September ’09 will realise that the wetter month of March will make this a very challenging event.
There will be a mix of classic hills used in previous Exe Valley and Torbay Trials such as Simms & Tipley, some new sections introduced last year and hopefully at least one new Section for 2010.
